Having an A3 printer, more often than not, is considered a luxury. This means that needing an A3 printer is different from wanting an A3 printer. Typically, an A3 printer is required when you frequently print in large formats. Aside from that, it can also print in sizes smaller than A3. Because of this capability, A3 printers are more expensive than standard desktop printers. Aside from their costs, A3 printers are also larger. Home Printing
In any given household, you will notice that the only printing requirements will come in the form of printing recipes, printing take home essays, assignments or printing pictures. If your office is already cramped up that having an additional machine will be a bother, then you should go for a smaller printer, one which you can just put on top of your desk. Having large machines in a small office may also become a safety hazard. Machines like these increase the overall temperature inside a small office which may make the environment non-worker-friendly. It is important to keep the work environment tidy, spacious and most of all, safe, to ensure productivity.
Different Printing Needs
Aside from not needing to print A3 sizes most of the time, if budget and space are of no concern to you, then you must also consider if you will need printers that can print on sizes larger than A3. Some offices make use of much larger printers to print larger documents, such as blue prints, plans and designs. You can only do so much with an A3 printer compared to larger printers. A3 printers can do just about the same job as standard desktop printers. In the same way, A3+ printers can certainly tackle on the same jobs as A3 printers can.
Having an A3 printer certainly has its uses. You can print on much larger sizes compared to your desktop printer. There are some A3 printers that are able to do high speed printing. Most buy this for mass producing purposes. There are also A3 printers which do not have high speed printing however produce higher quality prints. Either way, these printers are used to print flyers, newsletters, posters and banners. There are certainly a lot of benefits to owning one. However, you must consider all implications of having one.
